How many photos can I store on a digital storage card?
We are used to buying film based on the number of exposures it will hold. With digital cards the amount of photos a card will hold depends on resolution size and the compression option you use on your digital camera. Use the chart below as a guide to estimate how many photos you can store on a digital card.

What quality and size prints can I get from my digital camera?
Digital camera resolution is measured in Megapixels. One Megapixel is made of one million pixels/dots. The more Megapixels per square inch - the higher the resolution, and the better the quality of the photograph. A photograph, whether viewed on the screen or printed, is composed of tiny dots (also called pixels). The more of these dots that can fit in a one inch space, the tinier the dots resulting in a sharper the image. Use the chart below to find what size photo print and quality you can get from your digital camera.
